I am SORE!!

And I'm not saying that to complain! :)
My whole body is sore because I finally went to the gym yesterday (Happy Dance!) woop woop!
My legs are sore, so is my upper and lower back. I haven't felt like this in... forever? sounds about right.
Yup, cause Phil stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me walk in, like he saw a ghost or something lol for real
Oops I said "Phil" but I meant "Ajarn Phil Nurse". Phil was honored on May 17th with the title of "Ajarn" which means teacher which is the higher level that can be obtained by an instructor and can only be bestowed by another has that title.
It's a great honor and Phil is very deserving of it for his years of teaching, skills and ability to impart these to others. If you ever take a class with Phil you'll see what I mean immediately. Congratulations Phil!!

You can watch Phil receiving his title of Ajarn and performing the Wai Kru which is the traditional dance done just before a muay thai bout to honor family, trainers, gods and take possession of the ring:

Words of a Champion

I am an ordinary man who worked hard to develop the talent I was given. I believed in myself, and I believe in the goodness of others.

Today I ran

Today, I ran. I didn't jog, I didn't pace myself and trot as usual.
I ran today.
I ran for all the days I haven't run in the past 2 years.
I ran for all the times I have not trained in I can't remember how long.
I ran to get rid of all the frustration I feel toward my current situation and all disappointment I have of not yet having changed my current situation.
I ran so I can leave my doubts, my fears and my anger behind.
I ran because I still can.
I ran with all my heart and all my soul but put my mind on pause.
I ran to let go of everything.
I ran until it hurt, until I felt empty.
Today, I ran. And I feel so much better
